Sailing with the Mouse

About

We got fed up with two things

Excursion prices that treat a captive audience as a cash machine, and the hours of research it takes to avoid them.

We’re cruisers. So we built the site we wished existed: every Disney port, properly researched, organised by distance from the ship and by budget, with the sailing calendar so you know exactly when you’ll be there.

That means walking the routes and timing them. It means checking what a taxi actually costs before we print a number, and saying so when a famous attraction is a waste of your afternoon. Some ports take a week to get right. 24 of 212 are done. We publish nothing until we have checked it, which is why the list grows slower than it could.

And because nothing ruins a helpful site faster than junk advertising: we don’t run any. The only promotions you’ll ever see are hand-picked local businesses at the ports themselves, offering something that makes your day ashore better. That’s the deal, and it’s permanent.

Made for cruisers, not for clicks

Sailing with the Mouse was built for one reason: to make Disney cruisers’ lives easier. That shapes everything, including the ads.

You’ll never see random banner ads here. No pop-ups, no “one weird trick,” no generic holiday clutter. If you see an offer on this site, it’s from a local restaurant, tour or attraction at the port you’re visiting, and it’s there because it will make your port day better, easier or cheaper. We turn away anything that doesn’t.

Advertising here is a recommendation

Every offer is hand-picked and port-specific. If we wouldn’t send a friend there, it doesn’t run. That is the whole policy, and it is permanent.
